Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

Gimme a break… I would just want to go to an island where people under 25 are prohibited. No wild parties, no binge drinking, just a bunch of laid back adults sipping drinks on the beach and enjoying time spent without kids.

    GIMME A BREAK!

If I had lots of monies, I would take a trip back to Costa Rica to visit my host family…But since I probably wouldn’t have lots of monies, I would work on house projects, garden, and have margaritas every day while pretending I was somewhere tropical. :o)

GIMME A BREAK!! Since I work at a community college, I actually do get a Spring Break, but it’s always the week before my kids are off and also the same week as our county fair, so I spend the first part of the week at home ALONE, and the last part of the week baking and doing other fair-related activities and usually throw some yardwork in the mix.

“GIMME A BREAK!” and… Since I just returned from a cruise taking another break would probably be double-dipping. HOWEVER, in a double-dipping-allowed situation I’m all for a swift return to Mexico. This time straight to paradise, no cruise ship involved, so I can do and see on my schedule instead of the captain’s!
