Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

For adult spring break…I’d go visit my bestie in Dominican Republic! She is living the dream and teaching diving there(www.divewithmia.com). But, I’m living my dream and just bought my 1st home and can’t afford a vacation.

GIMMIE A BREAK! I would love a beach vacation that incorporated yoga on the beach every morning, lounging with a great view and a good book during the day and a long walk, followed by margaritas every evening. Sigh…wish I was there now (as I listen to my 2 year old yell at a rock outside).

GIMME A BREAK! Actually, my husband and I are currently on Spring Break because we are both middle school math teachers. And we plan on spending the week completing some of our own DIY projects (I am trying to convince him to tackle to console table that we have been planning for our own couch!)

I actually do get spring break since I am still in college, but if adults got a break too I would want to go on a family vacation to some amazing city that I haven’t been to yet…top of the list is Barcelona, but Hong Kong, and somewhere in India, Brazil, or Morocco are also top of the list.

GIMME A BREAK! I am a middle school librarian, so I actually do get a spring break week. I’d love to use it to do something fabulous, like go somewhere warm and/or cultural, but thus far (two years) I’ve used it to visit family and friends in NJ/NYC and spent the rest doing home projects.
