Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

    GIMME A BREAK!!

Being a teacher I actually do get a spring break every year :)
We didn’t do anything spectacular this year because we spent a good deal of money paying off some debts that we’ve acquired since buying a house. My favorite place to go for spring break is Arizona for Dodgers spring training baseball. We went last year and it was a BLAST!

    Gimme A Break!!!

Since I’m about to start grad school for shark research, I’d probably do work. With my finace. I think we’d love to be able to go diving and all sorts of good stuff that officially counts as work, but totally would be for fun :)

GIMME A BREAK! If I couldn’t be at the ocean…somewhere warm, or in the Northwest, then I’d find me a neat little hot tub on the deck of a neat little cabin in some secluded area in my home state in the Midwest, and then I’d get me a case of red wine and kidnap my husband who takes providing for his family very, very (too) seriously!

    GIMME A BREAK!

I work in a school so even as a grown up… i DO get a spring break (though it was almost a month ago at this point)- and I really spent a lot of time working on my home improvement to do list. And cleaning.

    eh-hem. Nerdtastic.

GIMME A BREAK!! I would head to the warmest, most remote tropical beach destination I could find. And since we’re talking in terms of a perfect world, there would be someone there to cater to my every food & drink need, and I would spend my days lying around, reading books and taking naps!

    Gimme a break!

I guess I can’t pretend that I don’t still get a spring break being that I teach school. :) But, this year I spent my spring break by myself relaxing at home trying not to think about the pile of grading I had waiting for me when I returned. No one else was on break the same week as I was. Did manage to go to a flea market one weekend though! :)

    GIMME A BREAK!

Actually, I’m a teacher on Spring Break right now…I am very blessed! This week, I am enjoying no alarm clock and just enjoying my home and family. But, if we could do a dream Spring Break, I think my sweet husband and I would enjoy a second honeymoon…crisp hotel sheets, room service, unencumbered days…ahh!

GIMME A BREAK! If I could do anything for Spring Break, I would visit one of my favorite cities – Seattle, WA. I fell in love with it’s laid back feeling and everyone is so friendly. My husband has never been and I’ve been anxious to take him there and show him why it’s so special to me.
