Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

    GIMME A BREAK!

I would love to take a trip somewhere, budget permitting, if I had a spring break. Maybe a road trip. If not, I’d be happy to stay home, take the dog to the beach, get our grill out and ready for the summer, and have some friends over for a barbecue.

I would declare a housework-free week – a week of actual vacation, not “I have a week off and really should do all my chores”!

    GIMME A BREAK!

I used to work at a college where all the employees got spring break and fall break when the students did, but I switched jobs and at my new college, we don’t get that benefit. :( But that’s the beauty of vacation days, right? You can have your spring break whenever you want it! I want another cruise!

    GIMME A BREAK!

I’d stop working on my thesis for a whole week (something I haven’t done in two years, isn’t graduate school fun?) and take my mom to the beach. We could eat tasty food, relax in the hot tub, and wiggle our toes in the sand while catching up.

GIMME A BREAK! – Hubby’s a teacher and I am an office drone, but we attempted to go to our cabin in Northern Wisconsin for his spring break – but they got 18″ of snow, right before we were to leave. We had a lovely stay-cation. And since it snowed in Illinois this morning, I would like to go to a nice warm beach.

I would use my week long break to tackel some much needed home projects! It seems as if weekends are never long enough to get all the things I want to do done and still manage to take time for family!
