I’m a recent addict to Fab (I own more t-shirts from there than I probably should admit). So imagine my reaction when I got an email from them offering to do a – wait for it – $500 Fab gift card giveaway for you guys. Their site includes items marked down between 10-60% from retail prices across just about every category – home, accessories, art, kitchen, pets, kids, clothing, jewelry, etc. And everything is selected with a discriminating-but-not-too-serious design eye. There’s an emphasis on quirky, weird, and colorful items within their sales… which means there’s a lot of fun to be had while spending the five hundred beans that are up for grabs.

FAB ME! Years ago my mother painted a wall in my bedroom for me with varying shades of my favorite color (bright green). It has crazy texture (because she did it by hand with a brush in perpendicular directions) and overall is so funky and me that it is still there all these years later!

My favorite spot in my house is the back sliding glass door. The curtains are jewel toned and there are sconces of metal on either side and a really nice curtain rod. They all just balance so nicely!

FAB ME! My mom recently gave me this small, weird, awesome statuette of a Hawaiian tribal chief. It was a souvenir my grandma picked up when she vacationed there. He doesn’t have a spot in the house yet, but I think I’ll keep him next to my hubby’s ukelele on the mantle.
