I’m a recent addict to Fab (I own more t-shirts from there than I probably should admit). So imagine my reaction when I got an email from them offering to do a – wait for it – $500 Fab gift card giveaway for you guys. Their site includes items marked down between 10-60% from retail prices across just about every category – home, accessories, art, kitchen, pets, kids, clothing, jewelry, etc. And everything is selected with a discriminating-but-not-too-serious design eye. There’s an emphasis on quirky, weird, and colorful items within their sales… which means there’s a lot of fun to be had while spending the five hundred beans that are up for grabs.

Fab me please! I love the bold green/yellow in our toddlers room and the awesome dresser my dad painted….beige dresser with drawers that are beige, red, tangerine, and grayish green. He even did something cool wight the handles :)

We have a poster literally off a telephone pole in Amsterdam, advertising their bike month. It says “XXX (heart) (bike picture).” Did you know XXX is the abbreviation for Amsterdam? and Fietspunt means bike?

FAB ME! I have a lamp that my grandfather made that’s about 4 feet high, shaped like two spirals intertwined. He gave it to me unfinished, so I sanded it smooth and gave it a nice finish and a big bright yellow lampshade. It’s definitely quirky-looking!

We’re Berner people! As a tribute to our first born, we have a few hidden/ secret Bernese Mountain Dogs lurking around the house. A small stuffed guy coming out of a basket on top of our entertainment center, one or two magnets on the fridge, and a whole bunch in our daughter’s room.
