I’m a recent addict to Fab (I own more t-shirts from there than I probably should admit). So imagine my reaction when I got an email from them offering to do a – wait for it – $500 Fab gift card giveaway for you guys. Their site includes items marked down between 10-60% from retail prices across just about every category – home, accessories, art, kitchen, pets, kids, clothing, jewelry, etc. And everything is selected with a discriminating-but-not-too-serious design eye. There’s an emphasis on quirky, weird, and colorful items within their sales… which means there’s a lot of fun to be had while spending the five hundred beans that are up for grabs.

I have a Ganesha (Hindu elephant) that faces our door. It was actually given to us by our real estate agent after we bought our house. At first I wasn’t sure if it was our style but it has really grown on us and we love it now! It’s supposed to bring success and luck to your home I beleive, so pretty cool!

FAB ME! My dad used to own a pharmacy and when he sold it he kept most of the antiques from when the pharmacy originally opened. When I graduated pharmacy school, my dad gave them all to me. People probably think it’s a little quirky, but I find them charming!

Hmmm… I put up an indoor campsite for much needed stay-at-home date night with my husband and we like it so much, we don’t wanna take it down. The dining room table has been in the living room since this weekend and I think it will stay there another week because we keep hanging out in the tent. :)

The wierdest piece of furniture I have is a DIY old desk turned vanity that is covered in mirrored panels and Moroccan looking glass knobes. Its such a goofy, eclectic piece but I love it!

Fab Me! One of my favorite bright things in our house is an old step stool that I spray painted a very leafy green. We use it so often that it often ends up in corners of the dining room or under the phone table in the hallway – as bright as it is, it often appears to be a quirky, intentional addition to any room!
