Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

    ALDER ME!

After painting our kitchen a bright pumpkin orange, my husband has been using his 3D printer (a Makerbot) to create accessories for the kitchen in an awesome teal that really pop and compliment the orange. So far he’s made light switch faceplates, little rocket ship egg holders, magnets for the fridge and a lot more. The best part is that all of these accessories also glow in the dark!

Adler me! When we moved into our house (5.5 years ago), we really liked the not-so-in-your-face red in the kitchen. It looked nice in our open floor plan 1st floor, next to a minty green living room. However, it’s time for a change. I’d like to paint it a soft teal or turquoise and paint the light wood cabinets white. And an apron sink would look fabulous in there!

I’ve been renovating my house since January and the kitchen is the one big thing to tackle. First thing I did? Painted my walls BM Wales Green! It gives the room so much more energy than the boring color that i was before. I’m probably going to switch out the knobs on the cabinets too!

    ADLER ME!

Right now our kitchen walls are a butter-y yellow, and we have splashes of navy blue throughout. I also have appliances and some cookware that is a deep, dark red. I love the pops of red, and the blue came about because we have a lot of delft in our home (due to my Dutch heritage) that my mom and grandma gave us. So even though I’m hours away from my family, all I have to do is walk into the kitchen and my homesickness goes away.

We need a new sink and faucet badly, and I would DEFINITELY go with the navy blue, so excited and thanks for the giveaway!

ADLER ME! I currently don’t have much color in my kitchen. We have been wanting to paint it but the wall from the kitchen flows into the living room and there’s nothing there to break it up. We’ve been racking our brains trying to find something to break up the walls so they can be painted two different colors. The flowing wall is above the hanging cabinets so I fell like our options are kind of limited. I will take any color in that room! Thanks!!
