Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

Um: Kendra Scott… Swoon. But to address the question – The hubs and I don’t really celebrate V.Day as neither of us really dig the full-out commercialization. I usually get or make him a card, he does the same for me, and that’s all she wrote! It works since we both like it that way. :)

We usually go to Taco Bell. Our first Valentines all of the other couple in college (in Vermont) had big fancy plans, but we drove two hours to the closest Taco Bell for “Mexican food”. We were so sick of the bland New England food, and I may or may not have taken some extra hot sauce packets back to the my dorm room and coveted them for the rest of the semester. That was 15 years ago this year!
