After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

I have never been a fan of boy bands! When I was younger, N*SYNC and Backstreet Boys were so popular. I acted like I loved them to fit in, but in reality I never saw what all of the hype was about! I was definitely more Spice Girls than boy band!

I was a die hard Menudo fan!! That was the first concert I ever went to! My whole bedroom was cover with their posters! There was also another group called: “Los Chicos” and they were from Venezuela and I loved them too!

NSYNC all the way. I once drove from Minneapolis to Joliet, IL to see them in concert. My friend and I stalked the tour bus to get autographs and got sweaty towels thrown to us by the boys during the concert. They were probably relieved to see legal-age-looking girls at the concert (who weren’t old enough to be their mothers) and that’s why we got their tokens of love. Ha. Yuck. I still know all the moves to the songs, and just broke out my skills for “Bye, Bye, Bye” at my sister’s wedding. I can’t decide if that makes me unbelievably epic or a little sad. ha.

I don’t even want a lawnmower (although I’m very grateful that you give away stuff to your readers), but I wanted to chime in that I’m heartbroken that Hanson didn’t get a shout-out in your list. 20 year anniversary as a band this year, and they’re still touring, writing, and performing their own music without “electronic enhancement” – you can’t say that about *NSYNC!!!!!!!
