Fab Freebie: Cameo Appearance

I believe it was the renowned Dave Coulier who once immortalized the words “cut it out” on Full House… but I don’t quite think Uncle Joey had a clue what potential those words could hold when it came to the Silhouette CAMEO digital cutter. You guys may have seen Silhouette cutters mentioned around the blogosphere before (our friends Jessica at How About Orange and Nicole at Making It Lovely did some cool projects with theirs). Now Silhouette has released a larger and quieter model called the CAMEO. Basically any design that you can create on your computer can be printed and intricately cut out on all sorts of papers. We haven’t tried it out ourselves, but there are tons of idea starters on the Silhouette Pinterest boards.

    CAMEO ME! I’m not sure who I’d want to cameo in my life – I think I’d get all tongue-tied if any of the hot ones showed up, but I think I’d be happy to see one of my fav food bloggers cameo in my kitchen for my next dinner party!

    CAMEO ME! I’ve long had a crush on the weirdly fascinating action-y star Jason Statham. Did you know that aside from being a stunt driver and stunt fighter that he used to be an Olympic swimmer? Wikipedia never lies! I would love to run into him somewhere random, like at a fancy art party.

    CAMEO ME! Wouldn’t it be great to be in a paint your own pottery studio and have a great artist sit down with you and just hang makin’ pottery all afternoon. I would pick Chris Van Dusen-his illustrations are amazing.

    I’d love to see Zooey Deschanel at the grocery store trying to decide which brand of cereal to purchase. {I know it always takes me forever.} I think she’s a hoot-and-a-half!

    CAMEO ME! I love that I get to have my husband cameo me on a daily basis. But if I had to choose someone in addition, I think it would have to be Zoey Deschanel. She’s so talented and interesting, and seems like she’d be a really sweet friend.

    CAMEO ME! Frank Lloyd Wright. I don’t know why I find him so fascinating. He definitely was not the average 2.5 children, dog and station wagon kind of guy. He’s been labeled as radical, eccentric and pretentious. But the man was also a gifted visionary who literally thought outside the box and was not the least bit phased by contradicting the mob. Must be that rebel thing, huh?
