I believe it was the renowned Dave Coulier who once immortalized the words “cut it out” on Full House… but I don’t quite think Uncle Joey had a clue what potential those words could hold when it came to the Silhouette CAMEO digital cutter. You guys may have seen Silhouette cutters mentioned around the blogosphere before (our friends Jessica at How About Orange and Nicole at Making It Lovely did some cool projects with theirs). Now Silhouette has released a larger and quieter model called the CAMEO. Basically any design that you can create on your computer can be printed and intricately cut out on all sorts of papers. We haven’t tried it out ourselves, but there are tons of idea starters on the Silhouette Pinterest boards.

3000+ comments, eep! Cameo Me! I live in Los Angeles so I do have quite a few Cameos in my life…the funniest is when my husband told our friends (who got us tickets to the Tonight Show) that Jay Leno was “always up at the Rock Store in Malibu with the bikers” which I thought was an exaggeration. And of course two days later he sends me a text with a picture of Jay and his vintage Bugati at the Rock Store…it’s a weird world here in La-la land!!

Cameo me!! There are a ton of celebs I’d love to meet, but I think that if I had to choose one to spend a day with I’d choose Ellen (Degeneres). Because she’s funny and who couldn’t use a laugh? And she really simply just seems like a sweet, sincere person. She’s very real and seems to own who she is at this point in her life/career. To me that’s inspiring.
