Fab Freebie: Colorful Goods

Since we maxed out on entries less than 24 hours into the giveaway, we thought we’d go ahead and crown our winner. Random.org has selected… Jen W. (who’s long had a love affair with the color grey, but has lately been drawn to cheery yellows lately). Congrats!

It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. And if you’re stumped on how to spend that money, HomeGoods has a new series of “Design Happy” videos to help inspire and guide you. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

    I fell in love with an orange MALM table on wheels from IKEA. I’m loving it with white and turquoise.

    Color Me!

    I’m loving teal, yellow and grey right now. Painted an old dresser turquoise and using it in our playroom under our flat screen for the random electronics. Looks awesome.

    COLOR ME!

    Orange is my favorite color, so I am always drawn to using it in my house year ’round…even thinking about painting my office orange!

    Color Me
    I have gone insane painting the hall and two bedrooms a half-tone of Benjamin Moore’s Manchester Tan. It is like cafe aulait on the walls. The light is yummy.

    COLOR ME Please!!!! Loving the warm fall colors. My favorite…..caramels and butterscoths. Hmmmm maybe that’s why I’m craving homebaked goodies all the time. ‘Tis the season though, right?

    CoLoR mE!!! Lately, I’ve been really drawn to persimmon. It goes well with my l grey accent wall and dark woods. It is just that pop of color I need. I also like it with plum or avocado green

    COLOR ME!

    We just moved into our 1st home one month ago tomorrow. So mostly I like anything that isn’t a brown box sitting on-top of other brown boxes. Will be a little while yet till we can even begin to think about colors to add. :)

    I have been loving white lately. As much color as I add and paint, the more I go back to white…go figure. :)
