Sherry and I have a system when we paint a room. She edges (aka: cuts in) and I roll. We both claim to have the more difficult job- and sometimes I think we’re both right (hello painting brick?), but this week’s prize could prove us both wrong…
The RYOBI Duet Power Paint System is specially made for two people who, like us, enjoy tackling a paint job together. We haven’t taken one for a spin yet, but the idea that both of us could have fresh paint pumped straight from the can to separate his-and-hers painting attachments (a roller for me, an edger for Sherry) almost makes us want to break out our paint swatches again. Heck, there’s even a sprayer attachment if someone’s feeling particularly daring.
But since we don’t have any looming paint projects to tackle, we want one lucky winner (and their handy painting assistant) to try this puppy on for size. Here’s how to enter:

DUET TO ME!! I just repainted my bathroom (your blog was the inspiration I must say – I’m a newbie to the blog and it rocks the house) and this would have been a little jewel for me and the hubs. He rolls and I edge too. Ok, for the duet, maybe I’m a little out there with this one but I absoluetly love the duet on White Christmas when the Haynes sisters sing their number “Sisters”. Gotta love that movie.

We have a huge painting project looming ahead (i.e. painting every room in our recently purchased fixer-upper home) and this would be awesome to try out.
As far as favorite duets…that’s a tough one! I love me some Meatloaf and Whatshername – Paradise by the Dashboard Light, but Summer Nights with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John is always a good one.

My husband and I met in our highschool show choir, (think Glee!) and the night we met was actually a party at a friends house where we all sang Grease with spoons as our microphones! To this day Summer Lovin’ will always bring back found memories of spoons and how we met. We even got a group together to “recreate” how we first met at our wedding… spoons and all!

My favorite duet of all time is Ebony and Ivory by Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. I was in 5th or 6th grade and I remember comprehending the racial and piano references and it blew my mind.
