Fab Freebie: Easily Turned On

So you saw me install this puppy earlier today, and just as we promised we’re back to give you a shot at winning one of your own. The Delta Pilar kitchen faucet with Touch 2O Technology is pretty much any DIY-lover or enthusiastic chef’s best friend because, just as the commercial below demonstrates, you can wash paint, dirt, eggs, chicken goo or any other home-improvement or cooking related mess off of your hands without ever getting it on your purdy fixture.

We’ve actually had ours installed for a week now and I’ve found it extremely helpful even when doing simple tasks like the dishes (yes, I’m usually in charge of the dishes, but Sherry vacuums so it’s pretty fair around here). Rather than having to reach over to turn the handle on and off, I can interrupt the water by just quickly tapping the spout anywhere, and the technology’s even smart enough to know when you’re gripping the faucet to move it (as we do from basin to basin in our double sink) so it doesn’t interpret that maneuver as an on/off trigger. Consider us impressed.

    Biggest turnoff of married life has to be the facial hair stubble in the sink when hubby shaves in a hurry and doesn’t clean up. Gross!!!

    Very little about my fiance bothers me, but I do find it funny when she gets on me for doing something ‘dirty’ only to find out she’s been hiding her own not-so-clean actions.

    TOUCH ME! I would have to go with a lot of the other commenters and say smoking is the biggest turn-off. I don’t enjoy having a conversation with someone who has smoke breath, and I don’t even want to imagine kissing that.

    Not sure if this is a turn-off, but it sure is annoying when my hubby puts his dirty dishes in the sink when there’s an empty dishwasher mere inches away. Argh!

    Biggest turn off: leaving dishes and glasses in the sink (next to the dishwasher). Put them IN the dishwasher!!

    The worst for me is when the Hubs loses focus of his priority list…he sometimes forgets his family should come before his friends.

    TOUCH ME

    I think my biggest turn off is when a guy wants to be noticed, so he feels that being loud will get people noticing him. It will get people staring but it’s not always in the way he wants. Luckily my husband isn’t like that, so I don’t have to go through that very often!

    Biggest turn-off is guys who assume the woman will do all of the work around the house because that’s our job. Um, no.
