Having now been a father for one whole month (Happy 1- month birthday, Clara!) I’m totally psyched for this Sunday: my first Father’s Day. Another reason I’m psyched? Because our friends at Lowe’s have offered to help us celebrate Daddy Day with a handy gift guide mood board along with a totally testosterone-ready prize. So if you’re still scratching you head about what to get ol’ pops, here are a few ideas to get you started. My dad is amazing he made sure I could take care of myself. He taught me how to fix plumbing, HVAC, change a tire, cut grass. He wanted me to be self sufficient. He married my Mom with three children and became our Dad when he didn’t have to. He raised us as he would his own, coached our softball teams, supported us in college and continues to be there for all of us.
I will also mention he just completely redid my sister’s kitchen on his vacation. He has already done complete remodels on both of her bathrooms, entryway, replaced all her windows and replaced a sliding door with a french door. The man is amazing!
