Fab Freebie: Finishing Touches

We thought we’d finish off this year with a prize all about finishing off a major remodeling project (or even just a quick furniture upgrade) the right way. For instance, although we’re spending major time on tile and paint when it comes to our bathroom project – we haven’t forgotten about the little things like fixtures and molding. And when we completed our kitchen in 2008, we went to at least four stores just to find the perfect knobs and pulls.     We are ringing in the new year by installing hardware floors into our new home. My husband and I are opting to do it ourselves…and anticipate an adventure as this will be our first time! I’m sure champagne will follow. Wish us luck!

    I plan on spending New Years with my new fiance [as of December 23rd! So exciting!] and maybe a few friends for a casual evening. That or we’re going to stay in and hang out with our three goofy cats – either option works for us.

    I plan to ring in the New Year on the South Congress Bridge with the boyfriend & a kiss, as the fireworks go off overhead. And I plan to start off the New Year by painting the hallways, finishing the office area, and finally organizing the bathroom closet!

    FINISH ME! We’ll probably spend a quiet night in with a few friends. But others we know are hosting a party so who knows?? As long as there is birthday cake involved (my birthday is the day before, coincidentally the day the contest closes :) I’m ok!

    I ALWAYS have the resolution to drink more water, and I want to try it again this year.

    I’m going to a house party, but truly hate the hype of new years and having to do something huge. I do like getting to dress up though.
