Okay, I’m mostly done with installing a large mirror in our master bath. It’s not anything fancy, but in order to do it, I’ve done a number of things for the first time. I bought a cheap, used (very large) mirror and we cut it – score and snap. I moved an electrical outlet (I’m still ridiculously proud of myself for that one), raised the light fixture, patched drywall, textured and painted, and have mounted the mirror. Now all I have left is to paint and put up the trim to frame the mirror. (Then it’s on to the 279 other projects I’d either in the middle of or would love to get to!)

You have one year to submit all of the work for those classes. I had managed to get most of it done last year but there was one research paper left to finish. I’m super proud to have finished our den after nearly 3 years in our home. My husband and I were sharing a small student desk (“sharing” is a loose term, I always ended up on the couch with my laptop), and we finally swapped the desk for a nice 78-incher, added artwork, new curtains, an area rug and throw pillows, and task lighting. The previous “junk room” is now our favorite room in the house! Now to tackle the bedroom!

Finn me! We finally hung curtains in the bedroom. I still want to add some more art on the wall but our room is finally almost done!
