We spent the last weekend trying to get all of the finishing touches to our house done (like painting cornices) and packing ourselves up and cleaning the place in order to move out. Tenants were moving in on Sunday, and got it done! After getting not a wink of sleep Saturday night.
Definitely glad that’s finished! Now onto the next place!

“finn me” PLEEZE. just finished, what took almost two years, tile in my 60 foot mobile home. omg. that is a lot of time with your legs curled up in the fetal position. ouch. primer. glue. lay the tile. grout. sponge the grout. clean the residue. seal the grout. lots of steps, but it looks great. even did the closet. lol. lots of stuff off to the boys and girls club.

I have a long list of projects to begin, and a backlog of projects in progress. But, I’m happy to say I’ve been putting the finishing touches on our master bedroom, and our 2yo son’s room. FINN ME!!! I am so glad to finally have the exterior of our house painted! After buying a foreclosure last June that had large-scale graffiti and various shades (and qualities of finished work) of stucco patches from the last owners and my husband’s recent patching, I am so excited that everything is finally the same color!!! Now, I didn’t love the 7 hours of masking/taping off that required before we could use the paint sprayer, but it was oh-so-worth-it in the end :). Yay for no more poorly spelled “art” (so and so “wuz here!”)–my hubby is the best!

My husband and I finally got around to switching our floating shelf and the gallery wall in our room. We’d rotated the bed by 90 degree and meant to switch things around so I could hang a plate and a few more pictures, and that FINALLY happened this past weekend.

Finally managed to get around to repainting our balcony floor before the winter rains hit here in Cape Town.
