When FLOR offered to hook us up with some modular carpet tiles for our basement, we couldn’t pass up the chance to spread the love to you guys. So here’s where you can get your hands (or feet?) on some of our favorite FLOR designs – including the Ascot Stripe variety that we chose for our big basement makeover.
Yup, FLOR’s giving away a 5′ x 7′ square tile rug so one of you can join us in the fun of these stylish yet practical floorpieces. They’ve got a whole slew of designs available – natural fibers, bold colors, sophisticated stripes and even a line by Martha Stewart herself. And we’ve picked out seven styles that make our toes curl. Check out some samples below, but don’t forget that they each come in multiple colors!

After a long day at work, nothing feels better than a relaxing foot massage from my wonderful boyfriend. He goes the whole nine yards — candles, soothing music and scented lotion. This guy deserves a medal! (Or a new carpet to ease his aching feet on our hardwood floors!) We actually just updated our office/arts & crafts studio with an Expedit system as well, and a rug underfoot would be amazing from both a practical and an aesthetic perspective.
As for what makes my feet happy – cozy chenille socks, walking along a beach and dipping my toes in the water, and yes, the occasional pedicure. So relaxing!

I love going barefoot…my feet are happiest when they aren’t restricted by socks or shoes, but if it is super cold a nice pair of mary-jane slipper socks will do the trick.

I have over 10 pairs of fuzzy socks that I wear anytime the temp drops below 70*. I cover my feet in some milkweed honey Burts Bees Wax foot lotion, slip some fuzzy socks on while they’re still wet, and enjoy soft, moisturized, happy feet for hours! Bonus foot excitement when the toenails are painter hot pink in the spring and summer, and moody dark shades in fall and winter :)
