Fab Freebie: FLOR-al Arrangements

When FLOR offered to hook us up with some modular carpet tiles for our basement, we couldn’t pass up the chance to spread the love to you guys. So here’s where you can get your hands (or feet?) on some of our favorite FLOR designs – including the Ascot Stripe variety that we chose for our big basement makeover.

Yup, FLOR’s giving away a 5′ x 7′ square tile rug so one of you can join us in the fun of these stylish yet practical floorpieces. They’ve got a whole slew of designs available – natural fibers, bold colors, sophisticated stripes and even a line by Martha Stewart herself. And we’ve picked out seven styles that make our toes curl. Check out some samples below, but don’t forget that they each come in multiple colors!

    FLOR ME! My feet have claustraphobia, and their favorite thing is to run free. I love getting my toes in the sand, or just wearing flip flops. Even in the winter. I like feeling the air all around my feet. But boy would my eyes loooove a new rug in our formal living room!

    FLOR me! We love the wool FLOR rug we just put in the living room, and we’d really love an equally warm rug between our feet and the hardwood floor in the bedroom!

    FLOR ME–I’ve been drooling over their last couple catalogs and haven’t done anything about it yet. Love the versatility. As to happy feet, while I was pregnant with my last babe, my three-year old would lotion up my poor tired feet. It got a little greasy (she was very generous with the lotion) but was very sweet.

    Flor Me! I very very rarely walk around the house in socks, I hate hate hate dirty socks so I always like to have soft slippers around and rugs in places I am very often.

    Floor me – wow. Does anyone out there have Flor tiles already? Is it just me? I think they’re awful! A great idea, to be sure, but I tried a sample once, and it didn’t stay in place, even with the included (hardly tacky) sticker. Maybe tiny chihuahuas don’t move these tiles (love ya, Burger!) but a great big Lab sure did. Not to mention his human counterparts.
    They sure are stylish though, right?

    I prefer to go barefoot, even when my feet are cold. But I love tucking them into the bottom of my blanket. My mom used to “snug” my feet up when I was little. I guess it’s a habit.

    FLOR ME. I just had a baby and my feet would be happy if they would deflate already. I thought swelling was for pre-baby.

    Flor Me!

    I have been wanting to try one of these but it looks to good to be TRUE as far as comfort and stability, so hopefully I win and can test it for myself. I would need to buy three more 5×7 rugs so start me off. My feet like fuzzy slippers by the way.

    My bee tattoo makes my foot look happy! (Though my foot didn’t feel too happy while the tattoo artist was putting it there.)

    I’m a lot like my dog, I don’t like my feet touched. But, I do like to let them hang off the edge of the bed when I’m sleeping :)

    FLOR ME! I’m a teacher, and I buy a new pair of sneakers for the first day of school. By the end of the day, my feet still feel great, and I’m ready to come back for more!

    FLOR ME! Nothing is better than a spa pedi in the summer and in the winter cold months I love my socks with the toes.
