Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

*sigh*.. we have just the one bathroom (not really a big deal to just us) and it is very small (not really that big of an inconvenience… less to clean…) but when the previous owners decided to sell, instead of gutting it and getting rid of the old pink tile that went half way up the wall (and in the shower) they covered it up. Yup. With a “bath fitter” and some sort of super thin MDF. So the walls are all white, but just sort of pop out halfway down. Think wainscoting or bead-board, but less awesome. The fixtures aren’t fantastic, either. Fix me?

FIX ME! We just took all of the tile and backing out of our downstairs bathroom. The tiles were so old and moist they were falling off. We literally had duck tape holding them on for a few months. Ha! We sure could use a new faucet and shower head to get our bathroom backing in working order.

    FIX ME!

We moved into our foreclosure this summer and holy early 90’s batman. The bathrooms were so amazingly terrible the first time I saw them I LAUGHED OUT LOUD.

We have curling laminate, a soaking tub surround that was never finished (20 years later!) and a shower door that won’t stay closed so we’re using a plastic hanger to hold it shut. (ok so that bit is super sad because I can’t blame it on previous owners.) Then the painters took down all the towel racks and bits to hold things up and didn’t reinstall them and now I can’t *find* them. It’s crazy sad.

Our Bathroom is a hot mess! When we moved in, it went to the bottom of the list. We redid the bathtub/shower combo and flooring, but we still have an old basic sink, v=cabinet and mirror that have been repainted so many times it’s just ridiculous. Of course if we had these gorgeous new fixtures, I might just be inspired to buy a new cabinet and sink to put them on!!
