Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!!!

Our bathroom is from the 60s and in need of a complete remodel! We don’t even have a bathtub yet, but plan on knocking down a wall to fit one in. Floors are old, the toilet and vanity are horrendous and small. my husband won’t even use the bathroom- meaning we have one “usable” in our 4-bedroom house. HELP!

FIX ME!! We just bought a house and tried to spruce the bathroom up with paint, new shower curtain, etc — and then laughed until we cried because it looks like it belongs in a PRISON! My goal was to make it look like a spa and it is straight horror film!!! Hard to work around cracked, nasty colored wall tile, missing floor tile, depressing lighting, and extremely out-dated vanity and mirror that apparently no amount of paint can cure.

My bathroom is a builder basic bath. Most of it is ok but I really want to get rid of the huge blah mirror and make something that is unique!

    FIX ME!

The biggest problem with my bathroom is the tile – it’s one of those oh-so-lovely pink and black setups from the 50’s. I know some people love them, but it is seriously NOT my style!

We don’t even use the shower or bathtub in our upstairs bathroom, even though it’s right next to the bedroom, because of the low water pressure, scuzzy shower doors, and outdated fixtures.

We are fortunate to have a nice newly done bathroom, but the one thing that needs fixing is some of the caulking in the shower. It detached from the tiles.

    FIX ME!

Our master bath dates to the 80s, so practically everything needs to be replaced! Most annoying, however, is the shower door that has lost part of its track mechanism so it is very difficult to open and close before and after a shower.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

Fix me! My husband and I are about to move to our first owned home and are inheriting a builder-basic bathroom. We’d love to be able to update it!

As for our current bathroom, we really need a new mirror. We’re both over 6 feet tall, and the mirror is a couple inches too short and cuts us both off. We have to lean down to see ourselves as we’re getting ready. (And if I’m in heels? Forgetaboutit!)

    FIX ME!

What is our current master ‘suite’ was the previous owners’ kid room [converted attic space]. Meaning – the toilet is sooo low to the ground! It’s a kid potty. And it’s got swinging saloon doors. Seriously. AND I’ve seen bigger shower stalls on a boat. So what needs fixing in our bathroom? EVERYTHING. I’m obsessed with this website, trying to figure out where/how/when to even begin…

FIX ME!!! I have a 1950s bathroom with pink and green tile that needs to be replaced soon. The tub is fine for my son’s bath, but the shower no longer turns on. So the showerhead and bath spout would be perfect for us! Plus, once that gets fixed, I love things that match, so the rest of the bathroom will need to coordinate so this giveaway would be SO helpful!

The master bathroom in this 50s house is tiny and needs some serious overhauling. The shower tiles are all cracked and mouldering; the linoleum is cracked and peeling; the sink is half rusted away; the faucets are leaky; the lighting is ugly; the tiny under-sink cupboard has off-kilter doors. I’m fairly certain that the clawfoot tub in our 19th century apartment is an original, which does give it a certain charm, but also the look of a 120 year-old bathtub. So I guess I’m saying, I wouldn’t mind an upgrade.
