Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

We just bought a beach house in Florida that has two bathrooms. Both need to be seriously updated. They need everything, tile, sinks, countertops, mirrors and of course new fixtures. This would be a fantastic contest to win!

    Fix Me!

I have a laundry list of changes I want to make in BOTH bathrooms (one is wallpapered on the ceiling – with a different wallpaper than the walls!!) – but #1 on my list would be removing the medicine cabinet sticking out from the wall in the main bathroom and adding a second sink. It’s actually difficult to brush your teeth or wash your face in this bathroom without hitting your head!

We just had a kid, and this is the bathroom in the bedroom half of the house, so adding a second sink would go a long way towards making it much more family friendly too!

FIX ME!! Where do I start? The most troublesome part of our bathroom is the hot and cold water are backwards in the tub. But really, the worst is probably the brass fixtures, or the stained vinyl flooring, or maybe the cracked sink, or the rotten vanity, or the toilet that is an annoying 4 inches from the wall…

Our downstairs bath is original 1950’s – the black and white is not too bad, but the old fixtures and metal windowframe in the shower – yes metal and water don’t mix well and = RUST – need replacing desperately!

    FIX ME!

We moved into our first house this past February. Our whole bathroom needs an overhaul! The tiles in the shower are cracked, and we realized that the previous owners tiled directly on top of the former tiles resulting in an uneven floor. Our bathroom mirror is also cracked, and our shower faucet leaks. This would definitely help us update our bathroom!

FIX ME!!! My bathroom needs to be rearranged. To bath the kids, I have to sit on the toilet. To close the door I have to walk around the toilet first. And to see anything I have to leave the door open (since there is no window and our light fixture is broken. I think the bathroom needs to be next up on our to-do list!

FIX ME!! My master bath has horrible burgandy striped wall paper. My 4 year old was in there last week and he grabbed the wall and said, “Whoa mom! Your bathroom is spinning!” That’s how it feels sometimes. The tile floor has a lot of loose tiles and the shower is just disgusting. A master bath remodel is next on my to do list. :)

FIX ME! The question is – what ISN’T in need up updating in our bathrooms? The vanities look like they came out of an early 90’s beach house, the tubs are some sort of plastic from the 80’s I’m sure, the tiles are early 2000’s but horrible colors. The the tub faucets are those cheap $8 standard ones from Home Depot. Blah! I could definitely use this prize!!!

Our master bath has no towel rack, no mirror since we tore down the old medicine cabinet five years ago and never replaced it. We have been dreaming about redoing the bathroom but too many other projects keep coming up so this would seriously be the kick in the pants that we need to get going.

    FIX ME!!!

The previous owner of our house loved the color green: green wall-to-wall carpet, green tiles in the bathroom, and green backsplash in the kitchen. The kitchen and carpet have been dealt with, but we’re saving for an overhaul in the master bathroom. No matter how capable, you still need a little bit of green to get rid of the green. This giveaway would get us there! Specifically, no more green tile. And, we’d like to re-work the layout and add a glass shower.

We have 2 small bath’s in the house – no master. We did a little redecorating when we moved in – painting the 1950’s tiles in the main bath. It’s held up pretty well, no complaints – but we didn’t paint inside the shower, it’s pink in there baby!
I would love to redo the basement bath with these gorgeous new fixtures! Everything down there is old old old…………..
