Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!!!!

We bought our first home and have tons of upgrades that need to take place in the bathrooms. Both bathrooms have the awful wall to ceiling fiberglass molding rather than a seperate tub and tile wall and they both have room for a second sink. Lots of great ideas and inspirations for these bathrooms from younghouselove.com!!

I would LOVE to win this giveaway, as our bathroom is in desperate need of an update… the original 1970s mirror might be the worst item…. or the original 1970s vanity/sink/faucet… OK–all of it is 1970s and all of it could go. :)

The entire bathroom screams “fix me” but one thing in particular would be the floors we’re missing one tile already! However, the pink sink, toilet, and bathtub also are ready to find their final resting place..

    FIX ME!!

My entire bathroom is pink… like pepto bismol pink, and when I say everything, I really mean everything… the tiled floor, the wallpaper with pink roses, the toilet, bathtub and sink… all pink. Oh, and I almost forgot the awful giant etched swan on the glass shower doors. The whole bathroom has got to go.

FIX ME — the really nasty strip between the tub and the floor. It’s this plastic strip that has slowly peeled away and is filled with gunk. Maybe a Moen redo would inspire me to do this simple fix as well.

    FIX ME!!!!

Our generic 12-year old builder-basic master bath is in need of major repairs . . . the shower unit has a misaligned door, the bath leaks, the floor needs to be replaced, and the whole room needs an overhaul . . . but right now we can afford a cosmetic makeover only, so this would definitely help!

    FIX ME!

We were so very lucky to find a newer house in our price range… but the downside is that it was a “flipper”. And therefore… lacks so much personality. Good bones, no character. YET (we’ve got lots of saving in our future). This would help us so, so much!!! (Some of the bathroom items were cheap, and already starting to corrode, too… booo.)
