Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!

The husband and I are in the process of getting a short sale and our master bath needs some serious help: wall tiles, bathtub, and floor tiles are blue, fixtures are old, etc.! Can’t wait to tackle it all, though! :)

We have a ‘lovely’ golden oak vanity with a mauve top and a cracked sink that leaks into the base… we swore it would get ripped out when we first moved in… 2 years later and it’s still mocking me from the guest bathroom!

FIX ME! Hilarous timing…we tore out the vanity in our guest bath this past weekend (a lovely rotted out 1960s masterpiece) and have just started doing the prep work to get it put back together…new fixtures are on the agenda, but just not ordered yet — this would be so wonderful!

My hall bath has tile that has had the grout “repaired” with caulk as well as the original 1977 vanity and drain which does not close. To top it off there is a wall to wall mirrow which is always interesting combinded with the mirrored medicine cabinet. I would love to update that mess!

FIX ME! The previous owners DIY’d very dark slate tile in the bathroom of a 100 year old house. The style is not in keeping with the age of the home and besides that it looks like patio tile! Ick! (Luckily my dad is an experienced brick mason and tile setter, so once we are ready to tear our bathroom apart he’ll be able to throw down some tile no problem!)

Fix Me! The previous owners of our house painted the double hung window shut, and didn’t have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. So the inside of the window has black fuzz growing in it. As soon as we get possession (next week!) that window will be the first thing we replace. Of course then come the floors, and the two-small vanity, and the eighty year old toilet. Essentially, everything but the clawfoot tub. AND we’ll be putting in an exhaust fan!

FIX ME! I tried redoing the bathroom a few years ago..things got busy and I left the painters tape up and when I took it down, it took all of the finishing off of the medicine cabinet.

Also, the people who redid the flooring ran out of the tile that we picked..so it is two toned!

FIX ME! This would definitely go in our master bath remodel which is desperately needed. The shower pan is cracked/leaking so the whole thing has to come out. Plus it’s all a peach confection (and not in good shape/cute vintage). Gonna go modern for the remodel and these fixtures would be perfect!
