Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

We desperately need new tile. The old stuff is 80’s basic grey and several are cracked, plus the old owner decided to patch things up by regrouting part of the bathroom with a different color grout than the rest. Sigh.

FIX ME! We just bought our first place and we really need a bathroom fan correctly installed – right now the fan in our condo vents into the “coat closet”, which houses our stackable laundry…but for some reason tehre is a plastic bag over the end of the duct-work. So, I’m pretty sure it just sends the air back into the bathroom…

FIX ME! In just under 14 weeks, or yucky guest bath will become a yucky bathroom for our new baby girl. It’s 20+ years old and features dirt-brown peel and stick tiles, a toilet that constantly runs, and a terrible light house boarder that sits at eye level and drives you bananas while on said broken toilet, just to name a few of the tragic flaws. We would love to be able to bring our baby home to something a little more stylish and updated!

Fix me! Ooh my goodness – this is the giveaway I’m most excited about! Our bathroom reno has been in limbo – we made the bathroom just acceptable enough so that we could clean up the rest of our originally nasty, 6-months vacant, bank-owned home. We don’t invite people over because our vanity (converted from a buffet) still needs a countertop and sink – ha!

FIX ME…and my bathroom. My entire bathroom needs to be re-done. The vanity is horrendous, falling apart and looks like the original from the ’50’s. The paint is peeling. All the fixtures are the cheapest you can get. We rent and have a landlord that is okay with us doing things but cannot be bothered to do any sort of repair or upgrades. We plan on being in this house for at least another two years and would love to continue making it our home…even if it is temporary. This giveaway would be a fabulous treat !

Fix Me! My bathroom is very underwhelming. Stock cabinet. Stock sink. Stock pre-fab tub and shower with unimpressive shower head. I have been making little fixes (painting, hanging photos, cute shower curtain) but some new hardware and a little cash to spend could give my bathroom some real oomph.
