Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME!!Help- I’m remodeling my google bathroom (so called because I learned to DIY everything on google- on a MEGA-tight budget!!)…figured out how to lay wall and floor tile, wall paper- even built a vanity- but now I’m out of money and skill. My old shower faucet still leaks and I can’t figure out how to plumb in my vanity (shouldn’t this be the easiest part!!)…the air instead of water coming out of the vanity faucet doesn’t clean hands very well :-(… new faucets and 250 to hire a pro would make the bathroom actually useable as well as pretty ;-)

    FIX ME!!!

My 90s terra cotta bathroom is horrendous! But the very worst part is the tiny corner shower with textured glass and half working shower head! We are embarking on an all DIY update soon and would love to be able to update the fixtures as well!

YHL giveaways are the best! Keep ’em coming!

I wish I could send a photo via this comment. Our ENTIRE bathroom needs to be updated. But if I had to choose one element, it would be the walls. We have cedar shake on 3 out of 4 walls and then wainscoting on the other wall… It is a disaster!

FIX ME Please!! It’s a toss up between the 1983 green bath tub and toilet set and the 1983 countertop that has started to crack and leak. We’re saving up for a major bathroom remodel someday.

FIX ME! Our master bathroom shower is completely out of commission due to a crack in the plastic flooring. We desperately need to update the whole room though and plan to eventually put in a full-sized tub instead of the shower stall.

Fix me!! My inlaws are doing their kitchen and downstairs bathroom over and would be so excited if I won this for them (my husband and I rent currently so sadly we couldn’t use this ourselves). They haven’t updated anything in their house since the early 80s and the downstairs bathroom hasn’t seen any newness since the 70s, it’s pretty terrible lol.

FIX ME! For the love of God and all that’s holy, I need all the help I can get. Our worst bathroom features (in both) are the horrible huge windows inexplicably located in our showers. The wood frames and sills around them are buried beneath layers of awful paint and our landlady won’t do anything to replace, fix or otherwise resolve the issue. We’re forced cover both sides of our showers with curtains, meaning that effective use of our shower space is almost impossible. Sigh.

What doesn’t need fixing/updating in our master bath?! We have tile that is a lovely shade of barfy pink. And a shower tray that was installed incorrectly… So it squeaks and makes cracking sounds everytime you move or shift you weight, which doesn’t make for a very relaxing shower. All the fixtures need updating, and we’d love to change the layout to make for a more open spacious spa like bathroom.
