Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix me!! Our master bath is in desperate need of new fixtures, new flooring and new tile. It is original to our 1964 house (except the floor) and has lasted a good long time, but tiles are cracking, vanity door has broken….it could just use a good dose of manual labor and a little bit of love.

    FIX ME!

Our master bath definitely needs these items – like, yesterday – but I think out of the whole list the things that we are looking forward to replacing the most is the showerhead and sink faucet. Both sport a shade of spotted green that leaves you feeling less than clean when you leave.

    My best, Lynn

My bathroom is stuck in the 80’s with hideous turquoise tiles in the shower and a yellow (!) bathtub. Replacing the fixtures would go a long way towards improving the space.

There are several areas that need help, but most of all, our master shower needs a complete overhaul. It is so bad that we have been showering in the guest bath for over two years.

We just bought our first house and the bathrooms SCREAM 1993. But the worst feature, beyond the fact that there is brass everywhere you look, are the frosted glass “blocks” behind AND under the master bathtub. And you know those bad boys light up!

Where do I start? The jungle inspired wallpaper in our basement bath? Or the peach tiles in the main floor bath? The constant battle with mold in the shower due to the inefficient noisy ventilation fan?

The list goes on…. We plan to gut them both so some free sexy hardware would be a great start.

FIX ME! My bathroom needs to get rid of the tub/shower doors. It’s one of those things that we keep meaning to do. Stepping in our bathroom is like a time warp to the 80s. Maybe this will be a good excuse to finally get on that. And what is a pivoting toilet paper holder? I’m going to have to google that.

Fix Me! When we first bought out house, I hated the bathroom. Total 1960s style. Seafoam green, black, and lilac gray tiles. Totally retro sliding glass shower door… After taking out the shower door, repainting, replacing the vanity light fixture, and adding some cool art I actually really like the room. There are still things that need replacing though, chipped floor tiles, tub fixtures and surround, room light fixture, etc.

Mix me! Our whole bathroom needs updating. :( :( <— It called for a double sad face. Our main bathroom has a 2'x 3.5' of actual floor space. It has matching, super grooved wood walls and the cabinet over the toilet is built 1" into the wall so if I ever try to take it down I'm left with a funky hole in the wall. Oh yeah and non of the fixtures matchd. Go us! :( :(
