Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Oh my goodness!! FIX ME!! Right now we have 2 leaky faucets and a not functional tub! We’ve actually picked out new fixtures and the boardwalk one was one of them! We were waiting on our cashback to build up on our credit card to purchase them. PICK ME PICK ME!

    Fix me!

We’re about 1/4 of the way through a bathroom remodel for a bathroom that includes mismatched tile, a dungeon-esque wall chandelier, Asian inspired cabinet handles, tub handles stripped and pulling off the wall, a vanity so short we have to bend at 90 degrees, and a on-wall medicine cabinet that was probably painted in the 70s.

FIX ME! Water leaks from the faucet handles on both the tub and the sink. The faucets are also a gold/chrome combo (not our preferred style). We could use an update!

FIX ME! My little sister is in a wheelchair and all of our bathrooms were done in the 1950s. They’re super cute with their fun tile, but definitely not designed for a wheelchair user. You should check out the vanities and their dings and the dings out of tubs…titanium chairs take on most bathroom fixtures!

FIX ME! I don’t know where to begin! We have to bathrooms that we’re getting read to redo. We finally got a chance to look at tile yesterday…YIPEE! They both need updating from top to bottom, but if I had to pick the worst thing? In my master shower, the lowest point isn’t the drain, so we stand in puddles. I’m desperate. Sigh.

Let’s see, where shall I start: is it the matching pink sink, toilet, tub and tile that matches the pink painted walls? Or is it the tub with NO CURTAIN ROD and leaky faucet! Or is it the toilet paper holder that was plastered into the wall? Just bought a house that has lots of opportunities for DIY :)

FIX ME!!! Uh, everything!!!! When we bought our house 2 years ago, it was in such bad shape that we basically needed to gut the whole thing and start over. We ran out of money, so we didn’t get to the bathroom yet. It has an ugly, dated 1989 oak vanity, with a crusty nasty old faucet and a beige sink (I think it is supposed to be white.) The people who did the drywall didn’t know how to do it correctly, so there are big ugly seams around the tape around the perimeter of the room. We patched some holes in the walls, but decided to wait to paint until we could do the whole room (I didn’t think it would take so long!!!) so now there are giant areas that have been spackled/primed, but not painted. The people before us put peel and stick vinyl OVER CARPET, so anytime the kids splash in the bath, the whole floor smooches when they are done (GROSS!!) and perhaps the best part… we pulled out the nasty, rotting drop ceiling panels and in their place is pink insulation board. It’s hot. For real.

FIX ME!!! (please). My bathroom works, and that’s about it. There’s not flair, no pizzazz, no wow-factor. The faucets occasionally won’t turn off so I need to keep a wrench and screwdriver under the counter. Also, there is no drain stopper in the sink so I have to keep the water running to shave. Come to think of it… the bathroom totally DOES NOT WORK! :-) Any help would be much appreciated, I love your site!

Our upstairs bathroom (no master bath in our nearly 100 year old house!) was painted black by the previous owners. All the fixtures are the two tone shiny chrome and brass. The handle of the sink pops off all the time and neither the sink nor tub has a stopper in the drain. Oh–and the worst part is that the floor near the tub is starting to feel a little too springy underfoot–I think we will need to tear up the floors!

Our hall bath is in serious need of just about everything. So far we’ve replaced the toilet, wripped down the wall paper and painted, and added a new shower curtain and towels. We still need to tile the floor, add a new vanity, and I’m hoping to frame out our existing mirror since it is HUGE and would save a lot of $$$.
