Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix Me! I think if this winning was based on a picture submit we might take the cake- 1950s bathroom with blue/gray toilet and tub with 80s partial remodel with pinkish wallpaper with brown circles painted on top and a painted 80s vanity with brown stripes! UGLYYYY! We would love to remodel it!

FIX ME! Where to begin?!?! We have an original 1950’s bathroom. Surprisingly the tile isn’t in bad condition, but SERIOUSLY needs to be re-grouted (and it’s not just in the shower- but 1/2 way up the walls).

Our master bath is in desperate need of some Zen. Everything is tan and either cracking or just straight wroughting. It’s builder cheap, and super fake. Tile would be a sight for sore eyes! :)

Oh my gosh – FIX ME!

There isn’t one thing in our bathroom that doesn’t need to be fixed! Tiles, grout (it’s dark pink!!), walls, vanity, window, I literally could go on and on. Right now we’re respackling the walls to try to hide what bad shape they’re in and then we’re painting it a nice color, but that’s all we can really afford to do. Paint – good quality paint – adds up, and we have four other rooms to paint too! It’s fun, though, to see how much better just painting looks afterwards! Next up is definitely going to be the insane grout.

    FIX ME!!!!!

The previous owners of our home let water drip from the shower/tub onto the floor that surrounds the area, rotting the wood underneath our tile! We need new floors and subfloors because of it :-( Oh, and the massive, wall-sized mirror needs to go too!

We need a kick in the pants to start a whole bathroom renovation. It is original to our 1950 ranch and so tired. The biggest problem is that I think we have mold and need to go to the studs before it spreads. I can’t take a shower without without starting to sneeze due to my allergy to mold!

    Fix me please!!

Where do I start!??! We had planned down the road to do a complete renovation, but that seems to costly. The plan now is to do some fix ups along the way. I would start with our double vanity that is still the original 1980’s Formica counter and sinks that look like they’re starting to rust!! Then I would move onto our oversized 1980’s green giant jacquizzi. The thing needs to go and I need to get an actually shower installed instead of the hose that runs up from the tub faucet into the shower head that’s attached into the wall!

FIX ME!!!!! My walls are in the most need of an update, as in please actually put drywall on me. Hahaha. They’re a little naked. ;) Okay, maybe the vanity is second place. It has a cultured marble top that is chipped and is severely water damaged. Baby steps, right? Time and money baby.
