Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Gosh you guys are timely! I’m reading this post between a primer coat and new color in my bathroom! And looking at the pile of ugly gold hardware that came with the house and debating a trip to Lowes… I’ll wait until Friday just in case I get lucky! :)

FIX ME please! We are currently re plumbing the street through our new-to-us house. All pressurized lines are going to be new, but we haven’t found a faucet yet that we like. Currently we have just the pipe sticking out of the wall for the bathtub faucet, and what I believe to be original to our 1961 house shower-heads. Everything else is silver/gold duo-toned, cheap, and showing wear. :(

FIX ME! My husband are buying our very own brandy new first home together (closing this Friday!) The master bathroom in the house has some, ahem, major issues- the gentleman who lived there before us appeared to leave the shower door open when he bathed (he was a rather LARGE man and this was our theory!) So the shower is destroyed. We need to replace the whole shower- tile, sub-floor, and even a spot in the ceiling of the garage all due to water damage- Help! Love your blog- you guys are fabulous!

Our poor master bath has barely been touched since the house was built in 1990, so there are many things that need to be done, but the worn gold-plated fixtures are at the top of my list to replace, so this would be perfect!

Our toilet is probably the top of the list. You have to hold down the handle the entire time it flushes to get it to work properly.

    FIX ME!

My sad, sad shower faucet likes to leak when the shower or tub is turned on, so there is a steady strong drip running over the tub spout. It splashes about and is really annoying when you are in the bath and water splatters over the side of the tub. Now if I had a new set to put in, I’m sure my hubby would fix it right away (I’m not being sarcastic either, he actually would)!!!

Bathroom vanity is currently in the greatest need of replacement. My husband is in a wheelchair and in order for him to be able to use the sink, we had the cabinet beneath it hacked out. Literally.

Fix me. I live in a rental from the 1950s. The bathroom is pink tile, but don’t worry – it has burgundy accent tiles to spice it up. Also the molding is such a bad fit that one summer baby geckos would come through the cracks to drink the water from the floor after we showered (but that part was kind of cute).

FIX ME!! Por favor. My bathroom is in my apartment, so there’s not so much that can be done to fix its’ ugliness, but my parents’ bathroom is half-finished and has been for YEARS. A contractor didn’t fulfill his end of the bargain and they have been living with a bizarre, gross bathroom ever since.

We have a “lovely” seashell sink that has seen better days. Somehow, it’s started deteriorating and now every nook and cranny looks dirty. We also have an old tub that cracks with each step in the shower… Not exactly a relaxing spa-like experience.

Thanks for the opportunity to address these items!!!!!
