Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix Me!!! Our one and only bathroom in our current house looks great, but our family of four is looking to go bigger!! Our house is on the market and all the bigger houses in our price range need a lot of love (to put it nicely!!) I’m sure these would come in handy :)

    Fix Me!

We’re getting ready to redo the whole master bath to ditch the 80s Scarface gold vibe and tiny corner shower for something much cleaner like simple panes of glass.

Fix me! My basement bathroom could use a new sink faucet and vanity. There is paint all over it from when we painted the basement when we moved in and it wont come off!

    Fix me!

Our (only, tiny) bathroom is in desperate need of repair! The floor was covered in green shag carpet–ew!–which thanks to the small sink that spilled water everywhere, basically meant the floor was wet for 40 years. When we pulled up the carpet, we discovered the tile underneath had rotted through. Add in the wood paneling and the contact paper affixed to every surface (seriously, two layers around the edge of the sink!), the hideousness is indescribable! The reno is in the works but not moving fast enough!

FIX ME! We had a painting snafu in our bathroom and ended up with little paint bubbles near the tub area. Fixing would mean sanding it all down and re-painting, which we haven’t yet worked up the energy to do!

Fix me! Our bathroom is okay, but we just bought a cabin and everything needs fixed. There are windows above the vanity instead of a mirror and a plastic shower. The vanity is very 80’s, but I think I’m just going to paint it.

Not sure where to start with my bathroom! I have a bathtub I cant even use because the handles fell off, both our sink fixtures leak terribly, our grout is disenigrating and our tiles are cracked! I did recently purchase an amazing antique mirror to go above the crappy vanity…LOL, what a combo. Its step by step when your on a budget. I hope win!!!

We just moved in to a new house and most of the rooms are perfect except…..the master bathroom! The tile throughout the room is dated, parts are cracked, and there’s a little bit of yucky colored grout in the shower. Some of the fixtures are updated and some are not, nothing matching that’s for sure!

FIX ME! For several years, we showered in a blue tarp that had been tacked around the shower surround. It was the result of a tiling project that we never quite had the time and money to finish. Two years ago, as a gift, my uncle visited and put up plain white tiles throughout the whole bathroom. Unfortunately, his tiling capabilities were severely impaired and now none of our tiles line up, either across the grout lines, or in terms of depth of the tile. I would LOVE to be able to fix this, so please, fix me!

What in my bathroom wouldn’t I change? It is an early ’90’s reno that has seen better days. From the cracked tiles to the stained grout and the white washed cabinetry the entire bathroom is a gut job.

FIX ME! We’ve just DIYed our master bathroom/bedroom, and the basement bathroom is the next project. We own a lakehouse that houses lots of company in the summer (and winter too) and the bathroom downstairs has a leaky shower that we are sure has contributed to some serious mold growth under the laminate floors and in the shower wall. Needless to say, it’s all going to come out and soon. We’re waiting until after Labor Day as the company just keeps coming…but we are anxious to start this next project. FIX ME!

FIX ME! Our random blue vanity, while plumbed for two faucets, only has one. The vanity doesn’t fit with anything else (the bathroom itself used to be a matching blue at one point!) and desperately needs updating. Our shower barely has room to turn around, and I would love to extend it out.

The kind that is that yucky taupe color and shows all the dirt and is so ripped and torn in the door way that we keep cutting back the peeled up part so we stop tripping on it. Yeah, that vinyl flooring. PLease help us update our one and only bathroom!!
