Fab Freebie: Gettin’ Jiggy With It

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.

Kreg Jig Materials

After all, I hardly consider myself to be a master craftsman, but after my latest shelf-building adventure I’m itching to tackle more wood-related projects. They really can be addicting…

Shelves Close

In addition to the Jig itself, this week’s winner will also be snagging a 675-piece Screw Kit, a Face Clamp and a set of project plans to get you started. So with all that at your disposal, I promise not to be jealous if you build something more complex than me. Here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: A Kreg Jig, Screw Kit, Face Clamp and set of project plans.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your dream wood-related project. Is there something you’ve always wished you could build? Or a renovation that you dream of tackling with your own two hands?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 7th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: All 50 of the United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

The possibilities are endless, but I guess I’d start modest with a plate display/shelf and move on to more advanced projects like…window moldings (we currently have none).

This is just what I need to build my own kitchen cabinets, for my “fixer-upper”..we are a large family that just needed more space. A big ol’ fixer-upper is all we could afford. Lots of fixin’-upin’- I mean lots! I’ll wear it out!.
    Thanks!

I absolutely “lurv” Kreg tools. I want to be the woodworker in the family, but my wife never lets go of the drill. She doesn’t let me paint either… check out her blog if you don’t believe me.

tell us about your dream wood-related project. Is there something you’ve always wished you could build? Or a renovation that you dream of tackling with your own two hands?

Well, she would never let me tackle any renovation without her. I would like to suprise her with a planting bench to work on her vegetable garden. I could also use the Kreg Pocket Hole Jig, for creating her 1ft. x 1ft. planting she wants to start later this spring. I just want to show her that I can DYI too!!

    JIGGY and JIGGLY,

    Stan

Where do I even begin? I’m the typical “poor college student that is totally lusting over YHL’s adorable house,” and I would love to be able to start building some actual matching pieces for my apartment. I want to make some lounge chairs for my balcony, a bookcase, a couple of nightstands, and a new dresser. I really have my work cut out for me!
