Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    Oh wow, hard to choose one color.
    Seems to change often.
    Right now? Reds, teals, grays, navy…okay, I’ll stop there!

    PANTONE ME! While corals have always been my favorite shades, I’m recently finding an affinity to royal blue. I bought royal blue denim pants and then quickly followed up with matching earrings. I think it goes well with coral, and it can still play off as a neutral against a lot of other colors. I guess I didn’t realize how much I loved it until writing this comment. :)

    My color of the year would have to be blue. Any shade :) maybe it’s just because of my son (7.5 months) but I love all shades blue. If I had to pick a favorite though it would have to be aqua.

    PANTONE ME! I am totally on the emerald train this year–no matter how hard I try to NOT buy something in that color family, I always end up coming home with at least something green. Woops!

    My color of the year is a deep teal, like Valspar’s Ocean Abyss. I love it paired with a rusty orange (like Sherwin Williams’ Spicy Hue) and a moody gray (like Valspar’s Hazy Stratus). Great giveaway!

    This year, I’m loving turquoise. I have a lot of turquoise clothes and jewelry and I just wanted my porch ceiling a light turquoise.

    I’m declaring my color of the year to be along the coral hues. I just can’t get enough of it lately! I love it paired with navy, mint, peach, oranges, yellow….I’m just totally loving it right now :)

    I have really been into a minty green lately. I have my husband nervous because we are moving soon and I’ve even been talking about using it in the future garage – lol

    Pantone me! I just love grey and can’t wait to paint some rooms in our new house with it. I’m thinking a warm grey that can be spiced up with fun accent colors and accessories.

    PANTONE ME!
    My color of the year is Olympic’s “Still Tidewater.” It’s a soft aqua with a hint of green and is the color for my baby girl’s nursery. I can’t wait until she arrives in August. Best year ever!

    I have been drawn to blues and pinks lately. Navy and teals for interior design and shades of pinks and corals for clothing! But there isn’t just one color i prefer..i like them all!
