Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    PANTONE ME…..

    Cobalt blue. I’ve never been attracted to blues very much but 2013 is the year. I don’t know, I’m in love with it and desparately trying to find a way to to incorporate it into my home.

    PANTONE ME

    My signature color has always been hot pink, but I’m obsessing over the deep moody gray we painted our master bedroom last fall. Deep gray, white furniture and bedding with pops of yellow all over! Yes, I am in love :)

    Pantone me! Baby blue for our new baby boy of course…I’m not a lover of pink so I’d rather have a surplus of blue items in our house.

    I am craving all things aqua…. which is tricky because we are expecting a baby girl, so I have to find a way to work in blues without it looking like a boy.

    I love blues, but I’m also digging yellow. I want to do our upstairs bathroom in yellow and gray.

    The color of my year would be gray. I know that sounds depressing, but it’s really not! There are so many varieties of gray, and it’s an awesome neutral! I love it!

    I’m loving on aqua/teal sort of colors (think Bali turquoise)…I would love to paint some stuff that color. :)

    I’ve been really into the whole yellow/gray combo these days, as well as ANYTHING in fun shades of aqua/robin’s egg/tiffany blue!

    My favorite colors are aqua and coral. Always. But lately I’ve bought more saturated royal blue and emerald.

    I’m with the commenter who likes jewel tones– ruby, sapphire, emerald, but my favorite is a deep purple, like my amethyst birthstone!

    I walked up to the homegoods counter on Saturday with a cart full of lime green accents, but gray is definitely my go-to neutral right now.

    Pantone me.
    I tend to gravitate toward neutrals, have always loved navy…and am working on braving pops of color.
    Pantone’s emerald isn’t as emeraldy as I would’ve expected.
