So I was surprised by the high(-er than normal for his shopping) end digital SLR camera he got me for Christmas. It made taking pictures of our newborn son so much fun! GIFT ME! When I was in college my husband (then boyfriend) sent me flowers a couple different times. The front desk at my dorm would call and tell me there was something there for me to pick up. One day I got one of those phone calls and went down to see what I got. They handed me what looked like a bouquet of flowers wrapped in the telltale green paper. I unwrapped it and found a dead branch! I realized at that moment that it was April Fool’s Day and laughed out loud. I thought it was the best gift ever! Then my bf came around the corner holding a bouquet of flowers. I told him I was perfectly happy with the dead branch.
