So it’s pretty sweet that Liberty Hardware is hooking one of you up with the chance to give your whole kitchen (or bathroom, for that matter) a major facelift thanks to $400 (yep, four-zero-zero) worth of knobs, pulls, switch plates, hooks, or anything else from their stylin’ catalog. So this could be your shot to make your kitchen more modern with sleek stainless steel pulls or to turn up the traditional vibe with some classic oil-rubbed bronze knobs (or something else entirely- they have lots to choose from).

    GIVE ME LIBERTY! I like the brushed nickle finish for some things, but we sorta kinda call our style Modern Vintage, so rubbed bronze, rusty, & patina things come in sometimes too!

    I like them all… except brass in a house. Or anything too country or old-school traditional. But chrome, bronze, nickel… all good! I do find myself going for the cheapest/most commonly stocked ones for door hardware since I want to replace almost ALL knobs in the house. And since not a “forever home”, I am ok with it being a standard finish (as opposed to thinking for 79hours about the right finish “for us”.) That was some awesome rambling about metal hardware. Sheesh.

    GIVE ME LIBERTY! We love the oil-rubbed bronze look in our well-loved bungalow’s main rooms, but we’re also loving the idea of updating worn brass and “almond” finishes with satin nickel in our bath and kitchen!

    Any kind of kitchen hardware would be nice to replace the two-toned gold and unidentified-bright-shiny-silver tone that is currently on our cabinets. But I think I like oil-rubbed bronze at the moment.

    I love me some brushed nickel, but I don’t think it would work in my kitchen as it is right now… Thinking of changing up the color scheme anyway, so this might convince me to actually do it!
