PICTURE ME!
My favorite picture of me was taken by my husband. I am standing on the front porch holding my newborn baby girl and the evening sun is hitting us just right. It was warm enough for the baby to be without a blanket, so you can see her cute little body in a onesie and booties. I was having a good hair day and the sunlight made it look even prettier.

My current favorite pic of me is a pic taken by my daughter. I am not a fan of photos of myself but she is virtually the only one who can capture a good shot of me with a natural expression, etc. She’s a teen but has a great eye for photography even when it’s just a quick iphone shot. My current fave is a candid photo snapped by our photographer at our wedding. It’s a photo of the hubs and I dancing up a storm and laughing our heads off. The photo is in profile and I hate profile photos of me. In fact, it’s not the most flattering photo of myself. This past weekend we brought my 18 month old daughter for dinner. While trying to distract her while waiting for the food, I flipped the screen on my phone so she could see herself on the screen. Then came the funny faces while I snapped away. For a split second I leaned in and made fish lips, which she copied. It is too funny, I didn’t know she could even make fish lips! :)

Ha, thought this was an easy one when I saw favorite picture, but you included, of me. Now it’s a tough one mainly because I’m the one taking pictures – I don’t like having my picture take either. But the one I do have, it’s almost 18 years old now but it’s still on the dresser in my bedroom. I’m about 7 months pregnant riding my horse in a field grinning from ear to ear – also helps I had a hoodie on hiding a lot of my face ;)
It reminds me of all the freedom we had bc – before children (but not knowing it). But in a good way, I do love my son to pieces…..

Picture me! I think my favorite picture of me is from college (I graduated in 2012)- my editor picture from the student newspaper where I worked, The Daily Tar Heel. I was the copy desk editor so once per semester a portrait taken by the photo editor would run in the paper along with contact info (in case someone wanted to put a face to the name/complain about an error if I wasn’t doing my job right, haha) and it was such a great job-I definitely miss my time there and the picture brings back lots of great memories!
