My favorite photo of me is one that my sister in law took while we were celebrating her birthday at the beach this past weekend. It’s one of those old arms-length selfies of the two of us and I love it because my hair looks accidentally-on-purpose crazy (normally it just looks accidentally-shoulda-worna-hat crazy) and because it’s just so sunshiney and happy. Also, I kind of look like I’m wearing a turtleneck at the beach but it’s totally a rash guard cause I’m cool and surfery…not mom-ish…make no mistake.
