My favorite picture of myself is from my wedding. I am standing with my parents outside of the huge oak tree that we were married under. It was taken by the photographer that we hired, but was totally candid. My dad is laughing at someone to the left. I’m sporting a full on open mouth smile and my mom is kissing me on the cheek. I look so happy. I think it captures my gregarious personality!

We were trying to take some posed shots together but instead my favorite ended up being one of her holding out a leaf she found grinning proudly and me grinning proudly at her! My favorite picture of me for many reasons is one my daughter took of my sister and me in Pompeii last summer. First, my sister and I hadn’t seen each other in 6 years and we got the opportunity to spend the summer together (her hubby was deployed and I went to help her with her kids at her home in Italy), we were in one of my Bucket List locations (Pompeii), and we were trying to find our way using a tourist map (HILARIOUS because if there are two more directionally challenged people alive than my sister and I, I would be very surprised).

My favorite picture has to a classic black and white of me and my husband kissing on our wedding day. The color contrast is beautiful! And every time I see it I get butterflies!
