Picture me! We are redoing the kid’s bedroom and this would be perfect. No frames for the lil ones to knock down and break.
MY fav photo is probably a candid one of me and my kids taken the day baby #3 was born. We didn’t know anyone was taking a photo so it’s very natural but you can see the excitement on everyone’s face.

PICTURE ME! My favorite picture of myself at the moment is one a friend took at a bachelor-ette party. We went to Portland ME and took a lobster tour of the harbor–so I’m wearing an orange apron and lobster gloves!! It was stinky, but such a fun way to enjoy the beautiful scenery. My favorite picture of myself is from 2009. I was in Paris with my mom and aunt (two characters in their own right) and we were waiting in line to board a Bateaux Parisiens River Cruise when I discovered a 3.5′ tall blue trash can that was shaped like a dolphin. Naturally, my first instinct was to have a photo taken with said trash can. (I was snapped embracing and patting the head of the not so clean dolphin can.) It’s not really for trash disposal, right? It’s purely for tourist amusement.
During that same adventure, there was another object that was meant to deter tourists from venturing through an entrance before we were allowed to usher forward. The object was essentially a white 2×4 with a boxing glove on the end. Much to my delight, this was another great photo op! I leaned slightly forward and pretended as if the sign punched me. And that is my second favorite photo, in case you were wondering.

My hubby and I are big time scuba divers, so we got into underwater photography so we could capture all the amazing sights we see underwater. We have way more fish photos than anything else, but do manage to take some of each other occasionally. My favourite is one he took of me (no selfies!) in amongst the kelp forests off Catalina Island, CA. The light filtering down is amazing and there I am in my gear!

My favorite picture is one that was taken at graduation for Virginia Tech last year when Michelle Obama spoke. I have a couple recent favorites, one of me and my first nephew the day he was born (he’s two months old today!!), and one of me and my two sisters and my mom at the botanical gardens in St. Louis on a trip we took last October. We took my 86 year old grandpa back there to see his brothers and sisters that are still alive, that he hadn’t seen in nearly 40 years since he moved out west! Family pictures are so special. :)
