We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

The long, sad hallway in my apartment would become a long, happy hallway with the addition of a pretty lamp. Besides, it would be nice to finally manage to put the right shoes on ones feet due to better illumination! This one red shoe, one blue shoe debacle is killing me.

our apartment looks out onto an airshaft with virtually no natural light (gotta love NYC living). definitely our dining room! in desperate need of more light! its in the darkest corner of our condo and only has light from one window in the corner–which faces east– so the room is bright and sunny early in the morning (not when I am in the dining room!) and dim in the afternoon/evening.
