Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

    DRAW ME!

I doodle, mostly pictures of my puppy. She just lies around a lot so it’s easy to draw her. :)

I’m a doodler with very little skill. I SO wish I was better at drawing/painting. I like doodling boxes, stick figures, that sort of thing but I am still pretty darn good at pictionary. ;)

I like to think I’m better than most I know, but there are SO MANY better artists out there than I.

DRAW ME! I am such a terrible artist, that when I was in high school I used to bring home my friends artwork and tell my mom I did it. My mother was so impressed that she hug it on her bedroom wall. Everything was fine until one of my friends came over and asked my mom where she got the picture that she drew. — My family still won’t let me live it down!

    DRAW ME!

I wouldn’t consider myself an artist, but I do enjoy attempting to draw. In fact, I just recently drew some nifty bride and groom characters for the save the date cards for my upcoming wedding! It took QUITE a few tries, but I finally drew one up that we could both agree to send out.

My drawing skills are pretty pitiful… sometimes I can doodle out a decent flower, but most of time you want me doing my artwork on the computer or with a camera! I am so jealous of those of you who can draw, though!

DRAW ME! I grew up in Japan. My brothers and I took art lessons from an elderly Japanese lady who lived in the mountains close to our home. She would take us outside to sketch nature. She would set up fruit in a bowl in her home for us to draw. We used watecolors, charcoal, crayons, pencil… It was so fun and I wish I could say I use the skills we were taught, but not so much. My brothers have done better with it. But I do love art!
