Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

    DRAW ME!
I only draw what my daughters ask me to… usually a “Pink Bear” (her favorite toy). Still, I respect people who can – since I’m pretty sure only my kiddos know what the heck my scribbles are supposed to be. :)

Draw me! I took 8+ years of art lessons as a kid/teenager and love drawing and painting! I like to think I’m a pretty good artist :) I’m good with drawing real life. Not so great with non-real life stuff haha

    DRAW ME!

I can draw two things reliably: a cat or a dog. They share identical body parts in my renderings with three exceptions: ear shape, tail shape, and stripes vs. spots on the body.

Good news is: my 19 month old son thinks they are BRILLIANT. Phew. I can get away with it for at least another year, right? :)

DRAW ME! I like to try to draw things! …but I generally fail lol. I can vision them in my head I just can’t quite get them on paper! However, I am AWESOME at the sensosketch part of Cranium (where you have to draw something with your eyes closed) haha

I love painting. I’ve decorated my house with canvas that I’ve painted myself. Why spend up to 50$ for a reprint of something when I can just paint it myself??? :)

I can draw an elephant’s butt like nobody’s business. Aaaand that’s about it. Hahaha. I doodle my own embroidered designs for my shop, but they’re all very simple. I would love to be able to really draw, though!

DRAW ME! I’m helpless at drawing, but I have a passion for art – I majored in art history in college. Funny thing: at my college, studio art majors were required to take an art history class, but art historians never had to take any studio art- which was fine by me! :)

    DRAW ME!!!
I’ve been told I have a natural talent for drawing and painting but I have not taken any classes. It is a hobby and my relaxing time. Although for the last couple of years I’ve considered opening a booth at local art fairs or an Etsy account.
