Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

DRAW ME! I wish I were artistic. I can write in lots of different styles, but can’t really draw much other than cutesy flowers, etc.

I tend to doodle during meetings, usually it’s just my name in different fonts or girly flowers :)

With practice I think I could become a good sketch artist, i did well in art class in high school. But i’m too lazy/unfocused to draw like that if i’m not getting graded on it lol

Draw me! I am not an artist at all. Seriously, the only thing I’ve ever drawn well was a fish. I have it in my scrapbook, because I will never claim any artistic skill ever again.

DRAW ME! Sub-par in the artist department. However, a new place called the Paint Bar just opened outside Boston. They help you to paint a picture and you get a glass a wine! I’m looking forward to trying it.

DRAW ME!!! I am a big-time doodler; hearts, arrows, boxes, flowers, little squiggly things…you can tell my level of irritation or boredom from the amount of pointy things that I draw during work meetings…sometimes I have to bring an extra notepad just for the doodles so I can hide the evidence…

DRAW ME! I have a drawing disability. In fact, I was almost held back in kindergarten because I couldn’t draw a straight line (this is NOT a joke — I would retrace the line I drew and that’s where things got squiggly). Now I enjoy making collages of the things I want by cutting and pasting pictures from the internet, as long as the object is flash based.

Best regards and love your blog.
