Fab Freebie: Line Drawings

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries –  see who won below!***

Thanks to random.org’s, our three winners are Jane (who considers herself an accomplished doodler – especially during a meeting), Molly T (who dubbed herself the least crafty person ever) and Lizz (who’s no artist, but is killer at Pictionary). Congrats ladies!

You guys probably know Freshline Illustration from our monthly sponsor shout outs, but soon three of you will know them as the ones who hooked you up with some sweet art / pillows / stationery for your own home. And many of Freshline’s colorful and playful illustrations can be personalized with monograms, anniversary dates, or even your full family tree.

Freshline Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card towards any purchase from Freshline Illustration
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “DRAW ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your drawing skills. Are you a trained artist or the last one picked during a game of Pictionary? Either way, what’s your favorite thing to sketch or draw? Maybe you’re especially skilled at human portraits – or you just like to doodle your name in the margins.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Freshline Illustration.

    DRAW ME!
I’m always doodling, though I’m not much of an artist. Generally its always hearts, or flowers in the margins of my notes.
Though a few weeks ago in my Art History 2 class, my professor had an image of Georges Seurat’s Sunday Afternoon on the Island of la Grande Jette Painting on the projector, and I began to sketch the woman in the lower right of the painting. It was a mess, but I was strangly proud of it!

I have no art skills whatsoever – maybe that’s why I’m a math student. I guess my favorite thing to draw is graphs?

I used to draw/sketch with colored pencils but I haven’t done it in forever. My favorties things to draw were always trees, sunsets and landscapes :)

DRAW ME! I used to paint a little when I was in high school as art was a subject that was compulsory in my country. Now 20 odd years later, with a new house and empty walls, I am thinking of having a go at it again.

I’m actually not a very gifted artist. However, when I talk on the phone, it is inevitable that I will doodle on whatever piece of paper is laying around, filling it with my name written all over the place and in all sorts of ways and squiggles of every kind.

I am not too awful of an artist. In school, when I was motivated, I created some charcoal prints that we have framed in our house and some in my parents’ house. I wish I would get more motivated to do more.

    DRAW ME!

My dad is a professor of painting and drawing at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and holds a masters in sculpture…I, on the other hand, literally cannot draw to save my life. Which is probably the #1 question I get when telling people what my dad does…”Really?? Can you draw??” “Nope. Not so much”
**the worst part is that he is very abstract and growing up he refused to compromise his artistic ability and just draw me a stupid pony that I could color..so much for having my own on-demand coloring book…
