Maxx and Marshalls, here to help us kick off the whole holiday shopping scene by handing over two $50 gift cards that can be spent on gifts, festive seasonal decor, or whatever else tickles your fancy.
We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

MAXX ME! At the top of my list is a new chair for my home office!! TJ Maxx has SEVERAL that I have been loving actually! I’m totally going to try to do a vintage looking floral pattern.
I’m most excited about giving my husband a customized flag for his new boat…sounds a little silly, but I know he’ll be excited about hanging it up!

My husband and I are going to buy a bunch of $5 gift cards to Target and Starbucks, etc., then hand them out all December to various people – friendly waitresses, the lady at the bank, etc. We’re excited to just randomly bless people!

I’m most excited about my gift to my uncle who has just about everything. I realized he loved the scratch off cards I got him for Father’s Day. He sat in the corner and happily scratched off each card and yelling he won $40 bucks in all. It was a nice to see him enjoying a gift he could get a kick…and a buck out of!

I’m most excited giving donations; going through items that I don’t need anymore and donating them to people who do. This morning, six trash bags full of clothes, linens, shoes, backpacks and old dishes were picked up by the Cancer Control Society. It feels great to have space and great to have helped someone else.
