We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

My entire list consists of gift cards to Home Depot as my husband and I will be closing on our first home a few days after Christmas, and there is much work to be done to paint and put in hardwood floors before the weather warms up and we will be required to devote time to our first yard!!!
Other than that, I also asked for a cute coat I saw that might build up my fashion rating since we’re moving to a new town and I hope to make a better first impression on new friends than paint-covered tees all the time!
I’m most excited to GIVE a gorgeous photo I took of my son. I began upping my hobby in photography this year, and I got a hum-dinger of a shot of my 17 month old in his Halloween costume this year with his glistening melted-chocolate brown eyes! Edited in Black & White, it just pierces your soul, and I know several family members love to display his cute face on their walls!

I’m most excited about the possibility of finally receiving a stock pot! I know, weird. Still, it would definitely help me tame some big recipes that I just don’t have the proper cookware to undertake.

I am excited about a cashmere sweater I ordered for myself… a real indulgence. And i’m most excited about my gift for my 9 year old daughter. She wants to redo her room. we’re trading in the pastel look. Instead of repainting (it was painted recently) we are giving a new look with new curtains (black and white) and a black and white comforter. Highlight colors will be teal and bright pink to match her walls.
