We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

This year, my boyfriend purchased us a gorgeous new couch. Gray, mid-century inspired and is sure to look awesome in our new apartment when we move in January.
I mostly excited to be surprising my mom by showing up unannounced for Christmas. My parents moved to Florida three years ago and I have not been able to get down there to spend Christmas morning/day with them. This year I moved some days around at work and I’m showing up two days before the big day. Dad is in on the surprise which makes it really fun. She has no idea! :)

But, I love to shop for him, & I love wrapping his presents all fancy-ish. What I’d really like for Christmas is to find out whether or not my husband & I will be having a baby boy or girl in the spring! :)
